Gabi Grecko and Geoffrey Edelsten have appeared on Studio 10 this morning to talk about their upcoming wedding, the rumours that Edelsten was cheating on Grecko, and the possibility of a three-state solution in Iraq.
(That last one was a joke. No Middle Eastern politics was nutted out this day.)
25-year-old Grecko wore a tight, strappy dress, stiletto heels and a slave collar.
Yes, a slave collar.
Because nothing says ‘I’m making an appearance on a national morning talk show to justify my marriage to a 71-year-old’ quite like a slave collar.
In the interview, Edelsten and Grecko explained that they had resolved their cheating mishap. It appears that there were just some texts on his phone, which he was going to tell her about but forgot to do so.
While she’s had a rough couple of weeks, Grecko was happy to announce that there is a “silver lining” because her Maxim cover has come out. And she even brought a copy along.
When asked if he approved of the cover, Edelsten said, “absolutely”.
But Grecko knows that it’s going to take more than a lad’s mag cover to restore her reputation. Grecko says that she needs to “reintroduce [herself] to Australia”.
“First coming here I was very misunderstood. I’m not trying to brag but I’m a really kind and sweet, open person. I’m not fake, I’m genuine.”
Grecko, a “DJ, told Studio 10 that she met Geoffrey backstage at the Lincoln Centre where she was performing. She was instantly attracted to his bright orange suit, but were the feelings romantic?
“I thought maybe he was gay, for a second.”
Once she had realised this was not the case, the pair fell deeply in love.
“He’s really sweet and genuine, and that’s really important to me and – I think – a lot of people,” she said. “So maybe that’s what they see in him.”

As much as I hate to give attention to things like this, I did (and am) for some reason. The only thing I would like comment on is the body language. They didn't touch each other once. If I don't know these two people but if I were watching this with no introduction and no sound I would not suspect they were a couple. I hope they will both be ok.
Gosh, I hope they are role playing some sort of "scene" (hence the slave collar) and Gaby is really much more empowered and together than she appears to be here. She reminded me of Anna Nicole in a tragic way. I hope that this works out for her and he is what she needs. Or I hope that she can find her way to a support network to help her get out.
