UPDATE:
So, having spent many years avoiding marriage, Cameron Diaz just got hitched to one of those Madden brothers (Benji to be exact).
The 42-year-old Hollywood actress told her 127 guests she waited so long for marriage “because I didn’t want to settle.”
Good thing she waited too: “Now I got the best man ever. My special man. He’s mine.”
The Daily Mail have revealed Benji joked, “I only asked to be in control of two things: The music and the cake.”
The day didn’t go off without any glitches though. The lights apparently flickered out in the venue 10 seconds before Cam’s bridal entrance, and she was heard cursing until the problem fixed itself up five minutes later. Typical Diaz.
Sparrow Madden, son of Benji’s twin brother Joel and his wife Nicole Richie, was also apparently the official ring bearer. The five-year-old, guests say, dropped the ring in front of the audience, making guests laugh while the Maddens got on their hands and knees to find it.
The star studded guest list included Drew Barrymore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Samantha Ronson, Toni Collette, Nancy Juvonen, Judd Apatow, Leslie Mann, and Benji’s grandmother ‘Jesse.’
Ryan Adams serenaded the pair, while Lionel Richie performed songs on the piano.
Mamamia previously reported:
Cameron Diaz just married a Madden brother.
Yes, married.
Yes, one of those scruffy but kind of endearing in a gruff kind of way Madden twins. The “Benji” one, to be precise. The unlikely couple tried to fool everyone by saying they were hosting an “early Golden Globes party” at CamCam’s place… Nice try, Diaz. We can smell celebrity matrimony from 12,066 kilometres away.
Cam and her new husband have just released a statement about their marriage:

I'm fairly sure 'Commodores' was Lionel's band pre-solo career. It's not a song.
ALL SINGLE CHILDLESS WOMEN ARE PATHETIC LOSERS WHO NEED TO BE PUT DOWN!
That seems to sum up the mood from a number of the supposedly "happily married" commentators here.
Look if you and hubby are as happy as clams together, good for you, but no need to run as single chicks down, if we're not miserable then I guess you must be wrong, but if you are right and we are miserable then surely our misery must be sufficient satisfaction for you without comment.
However I suspect those that write these poisonous posts aren't that happily married, and oh BTW, as a single gal, I will freely admit I know a number of people who are on relationships who seem blissfully happy, and usually as a result they don't feel the need to run others down who have a different lifestyle.
Must I say. You are awesome. It couldn't be put better. I'm happily married and I would never ever put somebody down for their choices in life. Why?because I'm happy within myself that I don't feel the need to put others down or tell them wrong from right. Guess what.. I was single once before 😊
Totally agree with you. Being in a relationship isn't going to make you happy, and just because someone is single it doesn't mean they're miserable. Isn't it better to be single and happy than be with someone you don't even love!! I'm happily married but there's not a chance in hell that I would be with someone just for the sake of it! Much more to life 😀
Oh you're awesome too, but then I've always liked frogs since I saw Kermit sing "The Rainbow connection" :) . Glad you and your spouse are happy, that's great and also that you don't feel the need to run us single chicks down.
Therefore your awesomeness has inspired me to end this comment with I believe a song very appropriate to your name and this topic "The Rainbow connection", please sing along:
"Some day we'll find it, the rainbow connection, the lovers, the dreamers and me!"
Oh another lovely awesome married lady, thanks for your kindness to we single chickadees :) glad you have found happiness in your marriage but are supportive of we single ladies :)
