Ashton Kutcher has told talk show host Conan O’Brien the story of how he and Mila Kunis chose their baby girl’s name Wyatt.
“We had another name picked out. We got pregnant a couple of weeks after we picked the name but when we were pregnant, the name didn’t fit the energy we were feeling. One night, Mila was like, ‘This is not the name.’ I was like, ‘okay it’s not the name.'”
Good job, Ashton. Pregnant wife = always right. So they had to come up with the right energy-flowing name.
“I had to get the creative juices going, so we were going to a Lakers game, and I got ‘name tourettes’… I just started listing off anything and everything I saw: ‘sign, truck, wall, door…’ She [was] like, ‘Shut up!”‘I said, ‘if you don’t accept my bad ideas, you’ll never accept the good ones.’
(Is that logic logical? Not really. But please continue, Ashton….)
“Then I was like, ‘I’ve got a really dumb idea. What about Wyatt?’ She goes, ‘That’s it.'”
And BOOM.
Wyatt’s middle name, Isabelle, was chosen to honour Mila’s family heritage. “We gave her the name Isabelle after Mila’s grandfather, who was Yitzhak.”
They’ve registered the name on all social media and websites. Sounds ridiculous, but when you’re famous, it’s more about security than publicity.

Shout that name out from your back porch in your best Aussie accent ... best way to road test a name before you commit!
I use a similar test- how would it sound in my angriest voice in a shopping centre!
That name will give her a nasty case of boy germs and she'll end up nothing but a lonesome cowboy that rides the range. Mark my words.
I understood that reference, only because my dad wouldn't let that go when we considered naming our son Wyatt. So, I suppose I can thank him for being able to understand cowboy references now.
