Lovely news for Anthony Callea and Tim Campbell.

Here’s some lovely news to kick off the week.

After seven years together, singer Anthony Callea and actor  Tim Campbell have announced their engagement.

Thirty-one-year-old Callea and 38-year-old Campbell made the announcement via Women’s Day.

“We were sitting on the couch and I was on my second scotch and Tim was on his first white wine and we made the decision there and then,” Callea said.

According to the magazine, the couple wants to get married in New Zealand, where same-sex marriage is recognised.

Tim Campbell is a former House Husbands actor and has previously starred in Home and Away. Anthony Callea was runner up in the 2004 series of Australian Idol and has since gone on to star in the Australian productions of Wicked and Grease
