What do Anna Paquin, Missy Higgins, and Sia Furler have in common? Besides fame, beauty, and talent.
They’re openly bisexual. And all three of them are in monogamous relationships with men.
Anna Paquin has been married to her True Blood co-star Stephen Moyer since 2010. Missy Higgins is engaged to musician Dan Lee, and she’s pregnant with his baby. Sia Furler got secret-married to Erik Anders Lang on Saturday.
But married bisexual women seem to confuse a lot of people.
But I thought Missy Higgins was a lesbian? How can Sia be bisexual, if she’s married to a man? Does that mean Anna Paquin chose to be straight? Can we use this to prove that bisexuality isn’t really a thing?
Anna Paquin cleared that up for confused people everywhere when she spoke to TV chat show host Larry King last week.
Because it seems 80-year-old King is the most confused of all when it comes to bisexual women married to men. In an interview with 32-year-old married bisexual actress Anna Paquin, he asked whether she was a “non-practicing bisexual”.
That is, has she stopped being bisexual because she’s married to a guy? Or does she still sleep with women?

Why is this all anyone's business? I mean, whatever, who cares? Isn't what goes on in someone's bedroom their business & not tabloid fodder??? There are sooooo many bigger issues!
I think that some of this misconception has come from people using bisexuality as a reason to cheat on their partner. I had a friend who was bisexual and in a monogamous relationship (for her at least) with a woman. He cheated on her with a man and said that he just needed to satisfy his urge....this is what gives those horrendous stereotypes. He was just a cheater, it had nothing to do with the fact that he was bisexual. People will use any excuse to get out of ownership of their behaviour. As others have written, monogamy is monogamy it doesn't matter the gender of your partner.
