FLUFF: Lorde calls out Photoshop. Because she's the world's best teenager.

17-year-old indie singer-songwriter sensation Lorde – also known as ‘Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor’ and ‘the coolest teenager in the world’ – has proven yet again that she is, well, the coolest teenager in the world.

We already know that the Royals is much more self-possessed than her 17 years would suggest, but her latest tweet shows that she’s not afraid to point out her flaws.

To the 1.3 million people who follow her twitter account, no less.

Lorde posted two pictures of herself to social media yesterday, both from the same performance at Lollapalooza in Chile earlier in the day. The two pictures were posted together, and Lorde wrote: “i find this curious – two photos from today, one edited so my skin is perfect and one real. remember flaws are ok :-)”

While most celebrities are happy to stick to their no make-up selfies, Lorde has gone out of her way to actually point out her pimples.

It’s not the first time that the young singer has drawn attention to her flaws, either. In February, Lorde shared a selfie on Instagram, that showed her face dotted with pimple cream, with the caption “in bed in paris with my acne cream on”.

During an interview with Rookie magazine in January, the young signer opened up about the pressure she felt dealing with public perception.

“It’s so hard, especially when you put yourself out there creatively,” the teen said. “Just take pride in what you do. Take photos of yourself wearing super weird clothes and love how it looks and be happy with that and be happy if other people hate them, ’cause sometimes there’s some fun in that too. [Laughs] But that’s a hard one, and everyone deals with it on some level.”

Like we said: coolest teenager in the world.
