Kim and Kanye just got married. We know we shouldn't care, but we really do.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West just got hitched.

Yep, an actual marriage has happened between two of the most ridiculously public, lavish and seriously glamorous couples on the planet. Kim and Kanye officially became Kimye.

Kim, 33, and Kanye, 36, wed in front of about 200 guests at the 16th-century Forte Di Belvedere in Florence, Italy.

The ceremony took place at sunset last night, in front of a huge wall of white flowers comprising “white gardenias, white peonies and white roses from Paris and Belgium,” Us Weekly! reports.

Kim’s stepfather Bruce Jenner walked her down the aisle as Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli sang.

Kim wore a white Givenchy gown featuring handmade lace work and strategic sheer paneling. It was accompanied by an ethereal long silk veil.

Givenchy also dressed Kanye in a custom wedding tuxedo — and the couple’s daughter North West, who turns one on June 15 — in a haute couture dress matching her mum’s one-of-a-kind dress.

The bridesmaids were reportedly dressed all in white.

Though it hasn’t officially been confirmed how the bride and groom arrived to the wedding, we wonder if the previous day’s festivities where the pair arrived in a horse-drawn carriage were repeated:

After the sunset ceremony, guests dined on Tuscan cuisine, followed by a seven-tier wedding cake, the LA Times reports.

Kanye was also apparently pretty jittery at the thought of tying the knot.

“It was funny how nervous he was,” an onlooker told People magazine, who added that the groom was “swigging obsessively from a bottle of water and shifting his weight from one foot to the other”.

“He clearly knew the gravity of what he was about to do. This morning he was all smiles, but as it got closer, you could see that the nerves were kicking in. It’s common for most grooms. I’ve seen it all before.”

As expected, the guest list resembled the Oscars: it included 12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen, singer John Legend and his supermodel wife Chrissy Teigen, actor Jaden Smith, Serena Williams, Big Sean, designer Alexander Wang, rapper Tyga and girlfriend Blac Chyna.

But a few famous faces we expected to see there reportedly didn’t show: there was no sign of Beyonce, Jay Z, Justin Bieber — or even Kim’s brother Rob Kardashian, who left Florence after a tiff with Kim on 23 May, according to Hollywood Life.

Though Beyonce never managed to make it to the nuptials, she did post this super sweet Instagram pic of the happy Kimye family, captioned “Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family”.

The couple paid 360,000 euros ($531,347) for the privilege of getting married at the historic Italian fortress, City spokesman Marco Agnoletti has said.

For a couple whose engagement ring cost between $5 and $ 8 million, we suspect that sum was like small change…
