Fluff: Did Cara Delevingne and Michelle Rodriguez just have a commitment ceremony?

Well, that escalated quickly. The supermodel and the actress who’ve been publicly engaging in an ambiguous relationship now appear to have just sealed the deal with a commitment ceremony in Thailand.

Yep, 21-year-old Cara Delevingne and 35-year-old Michelle Rodriguez have been canoodling in public for a while now, causing the world to become moderately obsessed with their potential lesbian romance. It’s a beautiful, definitely-almost-true thing.

And now? The extremely attractive pair have reportedly declared their love in a commitment ceremony during their holiday in Thailand.

This is what an “insider” said about Cara and Michelle’s budding, blossoming, blooming romance: “Now it’s really getting serious. On their holiday Cara and Michelle organised a Baci ceremony, which is also called the kwan in Thai. They had the peaceful sunset ceremony involving a big circle of devotees chanting and offering flowers while sitting in the centre of their hotel gardens.”

Obviously, this sounds like a little slice of celebrity heaven. We want so badly for this to be true, we’re temporarily choosing to believe the anonymous source until told otherwise. Join us.

If this magical exotic commitment flower-child love-fest really did happen, it’s only a matter of time before Instagram evidence emerges. Then – and only then – we can go on a group trip to the tattoo parlour to get matching C + M 4EVA tattoos.

Rumours about Cara and Michelle’s romance hit the world’s press when they were snapped making out at a basketball game. That was at least six weeks ago now, and since then the girls have been toying with our hearts, denying and confirming rumours with no regard for how emotionally invested we all are in this love affair.

We didn’t get our hopes up too much – beautiful rumours like these happen every day – until Michelle Rodriguez “confirmed” that they were dating.

“It’s going really well. She’s so cool. When we started hanging out I just thought she was awesome, and we have the best time together. She’s hard though. You wouldn’t want to mess with her in a fight.”

In the wake of that statement, every giggle between them looked like real love. Every grainy, intimate photograph was evidence of a sweet, innocent romance between two extremely famous people.

And then, Michelle took it all back: the glances, the hand-holding, the proclamation of love. Michelle’s people have denied everything, claiming that the statement about Cara was entirely fabricated and the pair are just good friends.The disappointment was crushing.

But now, with this commitment ceremony, it sounds like it’s all back on. We’ll keep you updated.
