Celebrities are refusing to perform at President-Elect Trump's inauguration.

62,686,000 Americans voted for Donald Trump in November’s election. But it seems the President-elect isn’t proving popular in Tinseltown.

The soon-to-be leader of the free world is reportedly being snubbed by a number of A-list musicians, who have refused to perform at his inauguration in Washington D.C. on January 20.

Among them…

(Note: the following doesn’t include Katy Perry, Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Madonna and others who actively supported his rival, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. We’re just going to assume they weren’t invited.)

Elton John

John himself told The Guardian that the while Trump was very nice to him when they met, their political views are "very different": "I'm not a Republican in a million years. Why not ask Ted f*****g Nugent? Or one of those f*****g country stars? They'll do it for you."

The Dixie Chicks

Well, not these country stars, Mr John. Emily Robison and Martie Maguire's manager told The Wrap, "No one is prepared to normalise what is going on in the country right now."

Adding, "If anyone does do it, I hope that the check they get is in the nine figures. Because it's probably the last cheque they're ever going to get."

Céline Dion

Las Vegas hotel owner and Trump's pal, Steve Wynn, reportedly promised the President-elect he would procure Celine Dion perform for his inauguration. But the French singer said “non," according to The Wrap.

KISS

The wife of frontman Gene Simmons told TMZ that "no", the rock band would certainly not be stepping in front of the mic on Jan 20.

"That’s not to say they didn’t ask," Simmons added.

Andrea Bocelli

According to The New York Times, the superstar tenor reportedly withdrew from the line-up amid fears of backlash from the public.

However, Trump's people say it was the President-elect who turned him down: "You don’t need to [perform]. We’re not in that kind of a framework. Thanks very much for the offer," he told Bocelli, according to the inauguration committee chairman.

So far, the list of 'Yes' celeb RSVPs reads: The Rockettes (an American dance group), Jackie Evancho (runner-up on season 5 of America's Got Talent) and... that's all we could find.

Let's just take a moment to recall President Barack Obama's first inauguration line-up: Aretha Franklin, Yoyoma, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Bono, Garth Brooks, Sheryl Crow, Josh Groban, John Legend, John Mellencamp, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, will.i.am, Stevie Wonder.... etc. etc.
