Three bodies found after wandering 5yo raises alarm for car over cliff in NSW Hunter Valley.

A five-year-old boy found wandering at a property north of Scone in the NSW Hunter Valley has led authorities to a car that had been driven over a cliff, killing three adults.

Glen Ramplin from the Westpac Rescue Helicopter service said the boy survived the accident with minor injuries.

He said it was believed the accident happened earlier today, but the alarm was only raised this afternoon when the boy was found on the Timor property.

“I don’t have the ages or the sex of the people on board, but all I know is that the five-year-old boy has survived,” Mr Ramplin said.

“The people on the property … have come across the young boy and emergency services have been called.

“He’s being treated by our medical crews and will be transported to Scone Hospital for further treatment.

“He’s obviously a tough little boy.”
