Bridget Jones is back at last and is as hopelessly drippy as we left her all those years ago.
The third instalment of the hilariously popular romcom will see a slightly older (some may say more mature) Renée Zellweger reprise her role as British romantic Bridget, who dreams of a wedding surrounded by all of her friends… only to find she’s still horribly single. And alone.
That is, until she meets Greys Anatomy's McDreamy (aka Patrick Dempsey) at what appears to be a musical festival and he picks her up literally out of the mud. It's love at first sight. The only problem is, it wasn't so long ago that she was getting hot and heavy with her ex-lover, played by Colin Firth. So when she discovers she's pregnant... well, she's not too sure who the father is.
The only plausible thing to do would be to invite both men to the ultrasound. Right?
Someone isn't going to be too impressed when they find out the truth. We hope it's not Mark Darcey. *swoons*
Poor Bridget seems to be in a world of trouble, which will make the movie all the more delightful when it drops in cinemas come September.
